Speaking of taking action, if you find we have a domain that you think should be yours:

1) don’t instruct your solicitors to write a letter. It doesn’t faze us, we’ve seen it all before, and could tell you cases where companies which have threatened high court injunctions have later come up with cash and an agreement to keep quiet

2) just contact us direct - you’ll find us friendly and happy to help

3) don’t say "we want our name back": it was never yours in the first place, and you should be pleased we are looking after it rather than some offshore cybersquatting concern which made the investment not on your behalf instead

4) be reasonable: if you turn over multimillions a year, we are not renting to you for £50 a month. But there have been cases where we have sold domain names for under £200 and made front pages of the national press for being so generous.....

5) send us an email at stationmaster@chester-le-track.co.uk or anylex@lineone.net

Back to trains, you may be wondering what is an independent station?
Independent stations are rare in the UK, but are not unknown, e.g. Ledbury (run by our friend John Goldrick) which has its own website, Gobowen, Newtown and Llandrindod Wells. Very few rail stations have their own website, and only one London Terminal which is Liverpool Street.

Our station was refurbished by ourselves and re-opened with staff in June 1999 to provide a full ticketing facility for local passengers, and over the internet. We are happy to accept ticket orders on our freephone number or by fax, and, of course, to personal callers at our little station.
